2007 Annual Chapter Membership Meeting & Election

Over 110 Chapter members attended this year's Chapter membership meeting and election held February 23rd in Ormond Beach.  

The ACLU Video "Stop the Abuse of Power" began the evening meeting. 

Chapter President George Griffin welcomed members and guests.  He provided a review of the Chapter's 2006 activities and provided a glimpse of the upcoming Chapter events. 

Glenn Katon, the new Director of the Central Florida Regional ACLU office in Orlando, was present to provide an overview and update. 

The existing Chapter officers were reelected by the membership.

The Chapter Board of Directors election resulted in three existing seats being replaced by new members.  

Chapter President George Griffin introduced the evening's featured speaker - Daytona Beach News-Journal's Columnist Pierre Tristam who presented "Deconstructing the Bill of Rights".    

After his presentation, many audience members had questions.
